evening swim...

We took the boys over to Alum Creek beach for an evening swim. They were so excited when Dad came up with the idea.  We enjoyed standing the in water while the boys played, swim and chase each other. What a good way to end a long hot day.

While Kurt went to school Luke and I made him chocolate chips cookies. Luke had a great time pouring and mixing the dough.

but I believe his best part was licking all the dough off BOTH beaters.

Kindergarten....

Today was the first day of Kindergarten.  Kurt was so excited to go to school and ride the bus.  At the bus stop he join right in with the kids and talked to everyone. Luke and I went to the school to make sure he made it to his classroom and was doing ok.  He was fine getting to his room and was fitting right in with no problem. 

We are looking forward to hearing about his day and all the excitement.  We are proud of him and how he just takes everything by storm.

Stingray bay..

Today I took the boys to the zoo...But instead of going to the zoo we went to stingray bay.  It was so cool to feel and see the stingrays up close.  The little stingrays like to flip their wings up and splash the kids.  We enjoy seeing this . The boys also got to ride a couple of rides. To wrap up our trip to the zoo we waited in line to see the baby tigers. They were so cute. Fun times to end the summer.

He is so much fun....he is always sing and making up songs.  He is giving, caring and makes us laugh.  We love his hugs ans kisses...We are lucky to be his parents...

Just like Daddy....

He is fun loving....He is a great big brother....He love to make people laugh...He is a true fisherman...We are lucky to have him.....We are lucky to see him grow...We are very lucky to be his parents

pond fishing

I took the boys over to the pond to go fishing this evening.  On the first cast with the new worm bait Luke pulled in a nice bass.  All while he was relaxing in his chair.  Kurt then helped Luke get unsung.  Kurt casted out to get the tangles out of the line, when he was reeling in the line a bass hit it.  Nice bass on no bait, only Kurt can pull that off.  We had a fun relaxing evening.

The last cast...

It was time to pull in the lines and head home for the night.  When Rick had to have the "last cast".  While he was reeling in the cast a big carp hit the line and gave him a fight.  I was a great net girl to get the big one in the boat.  The boys were excited to hold the carp.  Great way to end the night.

Molly...

Tonight we took Molly out on the boat with us.  It took her a while to settle down but by the end of our trip she was sleeping in the captain's seat.
