Visitor in camp......

The boys had a visitor in their tent to other night....it took me a while to find her.

When I was away at srcapbook weekend.  Rick took great care of the boys.  They were doing "boy things" This is what Kurt like to tell me.  On Saturday I got a email from Rick with a picture that said "what the boys do when mom's away".  He put wax worms on a cookie sheet and told me he was warming them in the oven.  I was ready to kill him,and I told everybody about what he was doing. I later got a email with a picture of my boys with blue gills.  He stated that warming the wax worms up really helped in catching fish.  When I talk to him later on that night he told me he learn this trick at the fishing seminar earlier that day.  He also told me that the wax worm would clean the oven, but not to leave it in to long because it would trun into a big fly.

On Sunday when I got home I was so happy to see the boys and to hear about their weekend..Kurt started laughing and told me that daddy made up the store about the wax worms in the oven.  I was ready to kill him AGAIN.  I look at him and just said.....you should never cry wolf...... Now do you think I should believe anything he tell me anymore...I would think not.....but I do Love him..

When Mom is away...

When Mom is away the boys will play..........My boys and I are very lucky to have Daddy.  He is so good with the boys and so good to me.  I love to come home from a weekend of scrapbooking to hear all about the fun advertures they got into.....and there were many....

From going to see Ohio Northern wrestle and flirting with the collage girls be hide them, and yes all three boys.  To getting home late and up early to go to a fishing seminar.  To going fishing at the pond....and then just goofing around with daddy. The memories they made this weekend and more scrapbook pages for mom to make....I love my family.

Fishing Camp......

The boys love to set up fishing camps all over the house.  This week they remember that Unlce Paul and Aunt Amanda give them a little tent.  So the new fishing camp is set up and ready for the campers.

Nana's bday

A couple of weeks ago we celebrated Nana's bday with cake and gifts.  We also took Nana out to a nice lunch.  Happy Birthday Nana....

Science time...

Is it a liquid or a solid?  That is the question.....With water, food coloring and cornstarch it can be both.....and so much fun to play in....

Wipe out....

We love to watch wipe out and laugh at the contestants on TV.  The boys made their own wipe out course tonight.  You start by jumping off the couch in the bean bag, jump to the other bean bag, then to molly's bed, finally jump on the stool with Nana looking on.  I  the mom took pictures of the boys in mid air so I would not try to catch them in mid air.... The joys of being a mom with two boys.....LOVE IT...

Homemade playdough...

A great way to clam little boys down is to throw some flour, salt, kool-aid package, oil, and water in a bowl.  Mix it all together, put some flour on the counter top and give each one a ball of dough.  Tell them to kneaded it and have fun.  After they are done explain to them that they just made homemade play dough.  The looks on their face is priceless to me.

OSU Vs. Michigan

When Michigan comes to Ohio State we love to welcome them with our buckeyes battle cry from the band.  This year is not different.

(Mom) "what's going on?"
(Luke) "I just want a rice krispy treat"
(Mom) "We don't have any."
(Luke) - climbs on counter to verify; then heads back up stairs for more shut eye
