Finally....

I have been wanting a mud room with cubbies so the boys would have a place to put their shoes, backpacks and coats. My goal is to have my mud room by the time Kurt went to school.  I have made my dream into a reality.  Here is my new mudroom/ laundry room.

What's cooking....

He loves to be in the kitchen with me.  He always wants to see what I am making. So he grabs his stool and asks me, "What do we do now mom"? I love his interest in cooking and I love to see him light up knowing he helped put dinner on the table.  I feel proud, when I  hear how proud he is to tell Daddy he made the mashed potatoes.

Milestones.....

Milestones are a big part of life.  Kurt hit another milestone tonight, no more training wheels.  He still needs help starting off and stopping is just really letting the bike fall while he jumps to his feet.  However riding is balanced and fast.  Tonight was his second time of trying and he just took off.  We were so proud of him but also feeling a little sad.   I do feel sorry for our trees...they have taking a beating...

Movie Time.....

I took a boys on a day of fun.  We took a hike at High Bank park this morning.  Went shopping for Halloween costumes.  Then ending our fun day at the movies.  I took the boys to one of my favorite movies, The Lion King.  It was good before they made it 3D, but now it is a fanatic.

Not bad...

On a raining and cooler night a couple of weeks ago. Kurt and Daddy had to go try their luck at fishing.  Daddy 0 and Kurt 1 nice saugeye.....

Fall Zoo Fun...

The boys and I try to go to the zoo once a week in the fall.  Today they have started putting out the decorations for the season.  We got to ride on the merry-go-round, and feed the birds.  At the front of the zoo they had a big pumpkin on display that have been carved.  So cool to see and touch.

Our friend Jason Clemens found a wonderful lady named Kelly.  He was smart enough to ask her to spend the rest of her life with him.  We were lucky enough to be invite to see the perfect pair tide the knot.  We enjoyed spend time with family and friends in celebrating Jason & Kelly Clemens.  We wish them joy, happiness and many many years of love......

Pre-K

Today was Kurt's first day of Pre-K.  He was so excited to go see his friends from last year.  We also really like Miss Tami.  Here is our big boys on his way to school.

Putt Putt Golf....

Putt putt golf is fun, but glow in the dark putt putt golf was really cool.  I can't tell you how many times Kurt has ask me if we could go play glow in the dark putt putt golf again.  It was different and fun for them..
