fishing camp...

One of my favorite memories I have of my Dad was when we built forts in the living room using blankets, chairs, books and tape.  He was a great fort builder.  One weekend mom and my brothers were gone at UN a school function.  Dad and I built a big fort in the living room.  We had dinner in the fort, watched TV, and had a camp out in the fort.  It was so much fun. 

Today the boys and I built a fort in the living room with chairs and blankets. While I was taking the pictures I felt like my dad was smiling at my fort along side of me.  He may have been the best fort builder but I'm pretty good.  However the boys don't call it a fort, they call it their fishing camp. 

I think of it as making memories.  Thanks Dad for one of my favorite childhood memories....I love and miss you.

Ohio State Vs. Iowa

What a great evening of wrestling, Ohio State upset Iowa 21 - 9.  The boys really enjoy watching and cheering on the buckeyes. 

The best part of the whole evening was meeting The Ohio State University football Coach Luke Fickell......He is a great guy..

Being mokeys again....

If their is a place to climb the boys will fine it.....and they did all over the zoo...

Zoo in January...

  The boys and I headed to the zoo to enjoy this unusual January day in Ohio.  We enjoyed seeing the animals and getting fresh air at the same time.  Today the boys picked to go see the polar bears.  I believe we spent most of our time watching the polar bear swimming, trying to catch a fish and playing around.  I found out today that the polar bears are sisters and that they love having all the fans.  They are so fun to watch.

First Snow....

The first real snow of the year 2012....The boys were so happy and could not wait to play in the little bit of snow we had....

Camera tag...

The boys cam up with a new game to play.... They take my camera and play camera tag.  Rules of the game: The one with the camera take a picture and if you are in it you got tagged....you do this while running around the house....

Christmas eve....

The boys are ready....reindeer food is on the ground, they had their baths, wrote Santa a note and put out cookies along with chocolate milk....All we need now is Santa.....

While the boys were all snuggled in bed with vision of sugarplums dancing in their heads... Santa stop by with gifts for the two good Mokros boys......
