Trick or Treat

Trick or Treat night was fill with excitement, cold air, and tons of candy.  My little Elmo and the Ghost were a hit in the neighborhood.  At first they wanted Mom to walk up to every house with them, but by the end Kurt was taking Luke up to the houses and telling me to stay with Daddy.  We are so proud of how  well they said trick or treat and thank you, plus walking all around the neighborhood.

Here are some picture of The Ghost and Elmo... I mean Kurt and Luke.....

Pumpkin Craving

Tonight was our annal pumpkin craving night.  The boys were so excited. Kurt couldn't wait to get the seeds out so mommy could roast them and to pop out the eyes, nose and mouth of his pumpkin.  This was Luke's first time really getting in the pumpkin to scoop out the insides.  Uncle Harvey came over to see our pumpkins and to spend time with us.  We also got to watch Charlie Brown Great Pumpkin. Everyone loves the seasoning salt roasted seeds and the cinnamon and sugar seeds.  As you can see we had a busy but fun exciting night.

The boys scooping out the insides. Which didn't last long because they didn't like how it felt...lol
Making there faces on the pumpkins....

Wow....

The boys were outside enjoying the weather before lunch. They were playing golf, driving the jeep, and playing on their play set.  Luke was driving the jeep and had a little trouble....

Luke thinks he can go anywhere in the jeep and over ANYTHING.  However in this case, the plant won.  Don't worry about the boys they are fine.  See Luke doesn't miss a beat........

look-a-like

A few weekends ago Uncle Paul was fishing down at Cumberland Lake when he got a big bite on his line.  After fighting this big fish for a half hour his fishing pole broke in half and he lost the fish.  Amanda took a picture of Uncle Paul and his pouty face.

When Kurt saw this picture of Uncle Paul he started making the pouty face.  He would say "hey mom who do I look like?" (pause)  "Uncle Paul when he lost his big fish. He laughs and laughs when he does this little trick. We love you Uncle Paul and are very sad you lost your prize winning fish.  Keep fishing cause you never know when the big one is coming.....

The Maze.....

Stacey had Mason's birthday party at a corn maze farm out past Plain City today.  It was a beautiful day, the sun was in and out of the cloud and the wind was blowing. The boys enjoyed every part of the farm.  From pumping the water to make the rubber ducky go fast, going through the corn maze with Mommy and Daddy, Going down the big tub slide, and taking a ride on the cow train.  Daddy even did the cow train with the boys.  Best of all was the hayride out to pick out your own pumpkins.  Thank you Mason we had a great day at your second b-day party.

Freeman's Farm

Today was Kurt's first field trip to freeman's farm.  It was a cold, but so much fun.  The class got to do a hayride, pat animals, go through a maze and pick out Indian corn ,and a pumpkin.  He was so good and I was so proud of him.  He is getting so big and I really see it when we are with his friends.

fun...fun...fun

The van was packed with four car seats, four kids, and three adults who was looking for some fun.  We headed up north to see uncle Doug and Nichole.  The best part is Nichole's family owns a market where they have fall fun activities.  Like hay mazes, zip line, swing, big tub slides and corn. Plus the best part uncle Doug hayride.  Mr. Heath got us all ice cream because we had good listen ears.  It was a fun filled day and we brought back hay in every shoe, shirt, and pants...... Thanks uncle Doug for showing us around and thank you Nichole for having us.  Heath thank you for cleaning out the van...great day with great friends....

Date night....

Daddy and Heath went out to fish for the night.  So Mommy took us out on a date and then a play date with Anna and Natalie.  It was a nice night so we got to eat outside and enjoy the birds and cars.  - Kurt

All I can say is they are the best dates in the world and I 'm looking forward to many more dates in the future...
Seeing the world through your kids eyes is a great reminder that they are what makes this world go round.
Thank you Kurt and Luke for all you ideas and stories....

2. Pond fishing or boat fishing?
3. Each one telling there own fish story?

If you guessed 1 your are right... if you guessed 2 you are right.... and if you guessed 3 you are right......

My wonderful husband and my wonderful boys.....With all the fish talk in this house you would think we would have a freezer full......:)

Pond fishing

It was late the other night to go fishing on the boat so the boys asked daddy if they could go to the pond a fish.  What is nice about the pond, you always catch a fish.  I went over with them to get pictures and videos of the boys.  I got to video of Kurt taking a fish off the hook, and  Luke catching a blue gill all by himself.  Sometime I forget they are only 3 and 1.
