The other night Kurt pick out his "new" shark pj's to wear. Then Luke wanted to be just like Kurt. However Luke "new" pj's were lions and not sharks. So needless to say he was not happy at all and cried for shark pj's. Mommy found him shark pj's bottoms and Daddy came up with the idea to drawn a shark on a white t-shirt. After all is said and done Luke was very happy with his "new" shark pj's just like brother......

Landscapers.....
Last Sunday was a perfect day to work on the landscape. So Kurt and Luke made a deal. They would be the landscapers for 68 cents each, plus dinner. I could not pass up that deal. Here are my three landscapers that cost me $2.04 and of course dinner.

Star Student
Today Kurt was star student in his class. He took his fishing pole, his favorite golf balls and dum dum suckers to share. He also had to fill out a paper about himself to share with the class. He may have been star student today at school but he my stars everyday.

growing to fast....
Last night I took the boys for a walk after dinner time. Kurt always rides his bike and Luke rides in the buckeye car. Until this time Luke wanted to ride his bike. I was so proud of him. He rode his bike all the way around the block. When Kurt was born I used to think about how nice it would be to have him ride a bike, now he is riding a big bike. When Luke was born I looked forward to him riding a bike. Last night I found myself thinking I wish I was pushing the buckeye car. Someone wise told me not to wish their lives aways but enjoy every moment that comes. They are growing so fast before I know it they will be going to school, high school and then college. Please God let me on hold to every last.

Big helpers......
The boys are all boys, but they are also mommy's little helpers. They other morning I ask Kurt if he could help me unload the dish washer. He said "no problem mom". He unloaded the whole dish washer by himself. Now I just had him put the dishes on the counter, but it really helped me to have everything out.
Today I was making the boys their favorite for dinner, "pepperoni rolls". The boys enjoyed helping with this messy but good dinner. Kurt cracked the eggs and didn't even get egg shells in the egg wash. Now I know you are thinking "what does that have to do with pepperoni rolls". The other night Rick and Kurt made chocolate chip cookies for us. Kurt cracked the eggs and then dropped the whole thing in the mixing bowl. So we had egg shell, chocolate chips cookies. :):) Boy were they good.... Anyway back to making pepperoni rolls he was very proud of himself and couldn't wait to tell Dad. Dinner turned out wonderful. The boys and daddy ate almost all 30 rolls.:):)

Movie Time
Today was a special day for the boys. Kurt and Luke have never been to the movies before and I felt it was time. Nana and I took them to see HOP. They enjoyed giving there ticket to the lady, getting a big bag of popcorn and looking all around. When we got in the theater they were amazed at the BIG screen and all the seats. I was very proud mom. They did a great job during the movie. We did leave a little early but it was so much fun.
