Big Brother....

I could have not asked for a better big brother for Luke then Kurt.  He is so good to his baby brother.  They play games together, wrestle together, chase each other around house and read books together.  Now in all truths they do yell, get mad at each other and fight a little bit. However the next second they are laughing.  Luke is a lucky little brother, to have a big brother like Kurt.

Put to work.....

They boys wanted to go outside today so I put them to work.  However to them it was not work but fun.  They took their shovels and got most of the snow off our deck.  Our big helpers......working hard and having fun.....to be young again.:):)

Deer Hunting.....

Do to some house updating. We had some decorations on the floor in the office area.  I was kitchen and hear the boys playing in the office.  When I peek around the corner, I saw Kurt hiding in the "the pine tree" looking over at the "big buck" that was laying down.  I started laughing and he said "mommy I'm deer hunting....Shhhhh "  You never know what they are going to do and  I love the surprise everyday...

 

Family Bond....

I'm very lucky to have the strong bond with my husband.  Our bond didn't happen over night, but through the years we have developed our support and trust in each other.  Having this bond helps with raising our two boys.  We back each other up and help each other through the ups and downs.  The bond between us made a strong bond within our family.

 

cabin fever...

The boys and I were having cabin fever. So I was thankful for a warmer day today. After breakfast and a couple cups of coffee for me. We got dressed and headed out the door.  Hiking in the snow was fun, we picked out  different types of animals foot prints. We enjoyed trying to brake the ice with rocks, and seeing if anyone was ice fishing.  It was a good thing we started out early because the little bit of rain picked up.  However mission achieved and the cabin fever gone.

Time of year.....

It's that time of year again. The football jersey are put away and the singlets come out.  So now the boys are not doing their pass routes but are having wrestling matches.  Daddy not only has Kurt to wrestle with but Luke is in on the action this year.  It's a good thing daddy was a great wrestler because he has TWO little wrestlers to beat.

my other little helper....

You got to see one of my little helpers now here is my other little helper.  He is full of energy and loves to act out whatever sport is going on at the time.  It's been and still is football, but now it is wrestling.  He is so much fun.  Tonight he wanted to help me cook dinner.  Luke was still napping so it was just Kurt and I.  I don't get one on one with just Kurt very often so I enjoy the time we had together cooking dinner.  I love being  a mommy to my two little helpers.

Little Helper.......

He is hard headed, stubborn, and loves to "TRY" to get his own way.  My family likes to say he is just like me when I was 2.  I do admit that I can be hard headed and do like to have things done my way.  However I learn to take care of things so they are my own way. :):) I'm a cleaner and I like to have things in there places.  So I will have to say that Luke is the very same way.  Here is my little helper.

During the sugar bowl in our house we were on pins and needles.  After the win we were too excited to close our eyes.  We are proud to say:
